Saturday morning 6.9.2025

We were in Tallinn a night and the bus departs at 1 pm towards Warsaw in Poland. We have to change the bus in Riga and we arrive tomorrow morning. We booked the hostel until 19.9. The hostel’s name is Wawa Star

Sunday afternoon 7.9.2025

We are in Warsaw. Cloudy, but otherwise okay. The distance from the bus terminal to the hostel was 7km, but we still came on foot because we were used to walking long distances. We took a nap and went to the store and now we only relax. We slept for almost 20 hours, hahah.

Wednesday 10.9.2025 afternoon

Here in Warsaw we have slept and rested a lot to travel again. This morning we went to the old town, but since there is some distance there, we used the subway. First we accidentally bought children’s tickets until we realized that the slightly more expensive ticket is for adults. With the adult ticket we came back to the hostel. It was surprisingly easy to use a local subway, but you can always get lost as a tourist. We took a day’s sleep and the rest of the day goes by resting. Warm air and sun shine. We bought really good tasting buns on the store.

Thursday 11.9.2025 Morning

Good morning! It is raining. Bread and white tea for breakfast. Lets see if we can get out at all because it rains. Should find a few postcards for friends as well as stamps.

Friday 12.9.2025 Morning

Yesterday we talked for many hours with a local man who lives in the same hostel and in the same room with us. Almost the whole day had to be on the hostel. Now the sun is shining and let’s hope today be better weather. My husband still sleeps so I came upstairs to drink tea because my throat is a little sore. Many residents in this hostel sound to be flu.

Saturday 13.9.2025 afternoon

We went for a walk in the park and in the shop. Now we enjoy coffee on the terrace. Yesterday, a lovely cat walked to us with a lot  things to tell. Certainly she would have invited us to her house for visit if she could speak hahah!

Sunday 14.9.2025 Morning

Good morning! Cloudy and cool. Today should rain and possibly also thunderstorm. I suspect we are using laundry today because clean clothes are starting to end. I was disappointed yesterday because the cat was not visible anywhere 梁

Monday 15.9.2025 Morning
Clothes  are finally in the washing machine. Pizza for breakfast and a little coffee. Crazy squirrel throws nuts, I don’t know what it has against me. On Friday we will continue our journey.

Tuesday 16.9.2025 Morning

Cold weather. We went to the store and have been drinking a hundred cups of coffee. Now let’s think about what is being done today. The squirrel threatens in the tree.

Wednesday afternoon 17.9.2025

Cold and gray weather. We’ve been inside all day. I have a birthday tomorrow, so I have to come up with something nice to do. My Husband said he wants ice cream and I pay  Tomorrow I also have to buy travel tickets and accommodation.

Thursday 18.9.2025
Birthday morning

Eat, drink coffee and went out with ice cream. Tomorrow we will travel to Turkish Antalya. Currently, Turkey is over +30C warm, so this time we have to buy sunlotion. We would have gone to the Geology Museum, but it was closed. The same Polish man I mentioned earlier asked us to make a list of easy sentences in Finnish,because he wanted to learn some Finnish. Funny guy and talking alot,heh.

Friday 19.9.2025 Morning

At 10:00 am, a taxi will get us to the airport, from where at 1:25 pm departing towards Turkey. In Antalya, we take a taxi and travel to Aydin Pansiyon hostel.

Large kitchen with pans,stove etc. Good for making food but its very tiny and always full of peopel. Laundry service with dryer. Free slow wifi.  Outdoor garden with large trees,no flowers. You can pay there with cash and card.
Hostel staff are not so friendly but they try to and they dont speak very good english.
There is no keys to the doors
