We flew from Egypt directly back to Antalya on 8.11.25. We continue our journey from here on 5.12.

Egypt was the roughest travel destination we have visited in five months. Dirt everywhere, beggars and a terrible smell all the time. Forced sales everywhere and all the time someone is trying to forcibly break into a store.

We didn’t go out much during the three weeks because the people were really rude and only thought about business. Tourists’ money is always good for them!

But now back to the present, i.e. Antalya. We immediately stayed in the same hostel as last time and the reception was again warm and the staff were surprised when we got out of the taxi. And on the very first morning we went to our standard cafe for breakfast. They were also surprised by our arrival. It is the best cafe here in Antalya. We go there every day at least twice a day for coffee or tea. I will add the cafe and hostel information down there and we will definitely recommend them to you. It has been warm and sunny here, but now it has rained for many days and also thundered. Locals say it’s a Turkish winter here.

Thats good hostel for bagpackers and worth of money. 15min walk from beach and just a round the corner is multiple shops and restaurants. Quiet and nice place for sleep.

The prices are a little higher than in other cafes, but definitely the best place. Turkish coffee and Börek is a great treat.
